So a girl named Spirit Corliss has a crappy life, her parents hate her because they think she’s a failure so, that sucks...hard.
And to top that all off, she gets an old fashioned letter sent to her house, its weird lettering and signature doesn’t give Spirit any clue as to who sent it.

When she finally got to opening it, her parents were overjoyed to find that she was being sent to a private school, they’re reason for being happy was that she was finally going someplace in the world, but the real reason they were happy, was because this was no ordinary private school,

This was a demon hunter’s school.

So she got stuck being shipped off (and I do mean shipped) to Cadogan high
school and college for demon slayers.

She meets the very odd, strange captain of the ship. Although he is nice, and wasn’t hitting on Spirit, he was a little odd. So she talked to him about her problems, and he seemed pretty understanding, though he didn’t say much. But when he did it was worth it.

She finally gets to this school, and at first glance she thought, ‘well, damn, am I going to class or prison?’ search lights glowed off the rocks of the island it sat on, big walls of solid concrete, encased the school, big spear-like gates guarded the front of the schoolyard.

She got inside the school grounds and looked around to be surprised not to find ugly barren lands but intricate gardens and statues.
She gets her schedule meets some friends, meets some teachers, bad stuff starts happening bla, bla, bla...
